Acquisition and Processing of Carbon Spectra
Read Acquisition and Processing of Proton Spectra. Use the following files to set up parameters:
H-1 decoupled C-13 spectra: stdc13d.fid
H-1 coupled C-13 spectra: stdc13nd.fid
Set nt, the number of transients, to be greater than the number you expect to need for your FID. Note that the time required for each FID is 1.5 seconds. Your acquisition will be updated on disk every 32 transients and you can process the data as described for proton spectra (see Acquisition and Processing of Proton Spectra). When the spectral signal to noise is satisfactory, click on Abort Acq and then save the C-13 FID as described for H-1 spectra (see Acquisition and Processing of Proton Spectra). Enter dm='n' su return to turn off the H-1 decoupler after your acquisition is complete.
