A set of programs residing on ernst.chem.virginia.edu is used to handle spectrometer waiting lists, requests for time, and schedules. Users may interact with these programs by logging in to ernst.chem.virginia.edu from any computer that is connected to UVANET. See Jeff Ellena or a senior member of your lab to obtain the login name and password. After you have logged in, enter waitireland, waitlutz, waitburger, or waitgn to access the ireland (MercuryPlus 300), lutz (Inova 300), burger (Inova 500) or GN 300 waiting lists, respectively. Enter nmrreq to start the program that is used to display schedules, view current reservation requests, make reservation requests, and cancel reservations for all spectrometers. All of the programs have easy-to-use menus and prompt you for input in a straightforward way. ernst.chem.virginia.edu is in Rm. 106 and routinely displays the waitireland, waitlutz, waitburger, and nmrreq programs.
